This series revolves around a group of peculiar detectives in a new division created to fight against an increase in atrocious crimes. Osawa Eriko is a beautiful career woman who has just returned from training in the U.S. and is appointed as the “boss” of this division. But despite her intelligence and capabilities, she can never understand a man’s heart, so she remains unable to find a husband. In fact, her assignment in the U.S. was really a demotion after she ruined her career track over a man. So why was she chosen as the boss of the new division? Even though the detectives are talented, they all have some kind of issue or flaw, and they are considered to be the “problem children” of the police force. In the end, the division’s true purpose is just to isolate these problematic detectives.

Review:

Sorry I haven’t posted stuff in a long time. I’ve been really lazy. I didn’t want to write BOSS – BOSS  because that’s pre-tt-y lame.

Anyways, the past 11 dramas (I think) I’ve done has been in my ‘You BETTER Watch This’ page (Lame name, I know.). This isn’t even though it’s one of my favorite detective dramas I’ve seen. I especially liked Amami Yuki because she has the aura of a detective and she has fashion sense (Thank goodness.)!!

I really loved Toda Erika in this because she was a different character in BOSS than in her other dramas. It was so funny in the beginning, she took a taxi to the police station (Is it just me, or it’s a really big building for a police building.), which was like one block from where she was taking the taxi. The taxi driver was like: “But it’s like right there?!” xDD

Kendo Kobayashi laughed my butt off!! 😀 It was funny when he was walking to the police station and there was someone smoking. He slapped the ‘smoking’ guy’s butt and took his cigarette. ^^

Mizobata Junpei was a somewhat clumsy but he totally pulled off the ‘I want to be a police officer’ act. I actually loved him in BOSS more than when he was in Buzzer Beat.

Nukumizu Youichi was the ‘funny old man’ in BOSS. I’m wondering if he’s a big flower person (like my mom) since he was picking a sunflower in the first episode when he was going to the police station.

Everyone else was just okay.. I felt that their acting wasn’t as good as the people I said above. Actually, this isn’t really suspense because it wasn’t like ‘jumping out of your seat’ drama. But I’ll recommend this to anyone who has seen Fugoh Keiji or Galileo. It’s pretty great!

Review: 7.8/10
